About a month ago, I landed in Colorado Springs after a scenic road trip from Jersey through a bunch of National Parks. The landscapes I saw were beautiful, some surreal, some sights I thought only fiction created. And while many photos were taken, many sights could not be captured. I’ve been procrastinating on processing those photos with the excuse of “establishing my life” or whatever.

In a desperate attempt to capture the vastness of space and color I saw, I sketched some landscape doodles that I would like share.  Pen and Photoshop

(Rustling from the bushes)

Here are some sketches not related to anything in particular. Getting comfortable with my newish tablet. Google image kung-fu and learn yourself some good knowledge too!

Building a New Momentum

Time is of the essence. Every moment is best experienced in its truest essence. When you want to change your life, change your lifestyle. If you’re going a certain direction and you need to change course, it takes some time and commitment to bring that energy in a different direction.

I created a crystal grid. 4 Buddhas, Shiva, and many minerals only half of which (maybe) I know the names. The longest two are lemurian seed crystal (left) and selenite (right).

Shiva with malachite, bismuth & blue aventurine (I think). Also are amethyst with a clear quartz, and tangerine & rose quartz either 45 degree angle from him. The big flat rock I found in a creek closer to my college.

Kyanite with my worry stone. I like to worry passionately. The crumbs are bismuth. (’tis a fragile element)

The center points to this tiger’s eye. It looks nice with the sun going through it.

I even saved these guys from the label prisons, but not before taking a low-resolution reference photo!

In other news, this:

Playing with paint, 3 freshly unfinished pieces floating about now. All of which will find their awesome potential. I want to loosen my approach.

I also doodled a concept sketch for the kung fu show.

To not delve too much, this guy’s reality is… different. There’s an awesome story why, I’m excited to help make it a reality.
And things that are brewing:
– Jamming with new metal heads with aim to write cool stuff.
– Brainstorming topics for video blogging.
– Coming into alignment. You, yes you. It’s happening.

Finale Scene

Though I always wish I had more, I do have this:

Picture 1

The finale scene of the animation for Fredstock. This is where we will see Arty Kornfeld green-screened in to hype up the show. I spent good time making this one look good, as you always want to end on a good note!

I also like starting on a good note, so a concept is being brewed for my first video blog, which in time will precede many others. When that finally makes its way to fruition (as with anything else), I shall post about it here.
